The city of Sunny Isles became accessible from Miami Beach with the addition of the Haulover Bridge in 1925. Shortly thereafter, several developers came

The city is located on an island bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the Intracoastal Waterway to the west. Its current population is 15,315. Sunny Isles boasts its own newspaper, which keeps the diverse population well informed. Sunny Isles also has many public parks, entertainment, sports and recreational facilities, and business centers serving its citizens.
