About Aventura Real Estate
Aventura is conveniently located between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, just east
of I-95. The northern boundary of the city is the Miami-Dade/Broward County
line, the western is the FEC Railroad, the eastern in the intracoastal waterway
and the southern is N.E. 176th St. To visit our city, take I-95 to
Ives Dairy Road and head east on Ives Dairy to Biscayne Boulevard. Aventura, Spanish for adventure, was named after the original group of condominium developments in the oasis. Aventura is 3.2
square miles and has a population of 30,027. There are 450 booming businesses in
the local city council and the city also manages its own police force, parks
and recreational services, and is currently working on its five year Capital Improvement Program, which strives to improve
drainage, construct a charter middle school building and enhance the "physical appeal” of
its streets. The city also features its own shuttle bus,
complimentary for residents, operating seven days a week. Aventura has created a
newspaper, magazine, radio station and municipal TV channel. An
online magazine informs residents about social events and
community news. The schools in the area are excellent and
include at least one charter school. Aventura also boasts many
cultural events, including the annual Aventura Arts & Crafts
Festival, which brings more than 50,000 people to visit the city.
